Who the heck am I?
My name is Sean, and I have worked in the fitness industry since 2005. Sports and fitness have been a staple in my life since childhood, taking me through college where I played baseball and studied exercise science. This, combined with my passion for helping others, made it it an easy decision to pursue a career in fitness.
A New Jersey native, I started my career in New York City before moving to Denver, where I currently live with my wife and two children. I have been fortunate to work in a variety of settings, with many walks of life, doing what I love and learning from some amazing people along the way. While health and wellness is a serious matter, and we will be putting in serious work, it should also be fun. Whether we are working in person, remote, or a combination of the two, I make it a priority to learn what makes you, you. Anecdotal data shows that music improves mood, and exercise efficacy.* As an avid music (and movie) fan, I have enjoyed the effects of both and love creating playlists based on your taste.
The bottom line is, health and wellness, fitness and sports, and helping people improve their overall well-being are passions of mine. I have dedicated my life to providing the best possible service to you. Although my days of competitive sports are long gone, I still love to compete with myself and train to stay ready, because you never know. Working with like-minded, busy adults, fires me up every day. My goal is to make your life outside the gym more enjoyable, no matter the activity; being fit will help make everything better. If you feel like this resonates with you, I would love to connect on a call to see if it is a good match. If you are still reading this, I’m certain it is! I look forward to connecting. Let’s have some fun! And get fit in the process.
My Approach:
General Physical Preparation or GPP, is intended to provide balanced physical conditioning in endurance, strength, speed, flexibility, and other basic factors of fitness. This is the philosophy of my training and improving all of those areas will be the focus of our training. This is designed for former athletes and active adults that may be dealing with some pain but want to continue training hard and safely, so they can meet the demands of an active lifestyle. This is a remote/semi-remote training program, depending on location and availability. Drawing from years of experience, a specific plan will be tailored to fit your individual needs and will account for any limitations.
